Goodbye 2016: Final Roundup

I can't believe there are a few hours left before 2016 ends. Let's make it simple; I don't really know how to say about this year. Describing 2016 in three words? I don't know. But hey, honestly, every year is an amazing year. But at the same time, they can also be an awful year. That's why we have ups and downs in life. That's why people change.

At first, I wanted to list down everything that I've learned this year, but it's too much, I've learned a lot. About relationship, friendship, blogging, study, healthy eating, and so much more. It's too much that I can't even think of any points to elaborate. So, I decided to do a throwback post instead.

Actually, I've been back and forth from my old house to my new house, moving and arranging stuff. When I was writing this post, I was rushing so badly. I still have lots of things I haven't unpack and school starts in 3 freaking days. I haven't buy any school uniform, books, supplies and stationeries. That's how busy I am. I'm sorry in advance if this post kinda sucks. I know that I need to make a final roundup post before 2017, so here it goes.

January

Usually, the annual road run would not be held this early. Other schools have their road run between February and April. And there we were, running around Lembah Keramat in January. Here's a picture of my clique. I never got a medal, tho. Fun fact, I don't like running. It's something that I'm not good at. Well basically, although I do play a sport, my stamina is quite low. Two of my friends in the picture (the ones who are holding trophies) are great athletes. Both of them get either the 1st or 2nd place in our category every year. Yeap, every single year. They are the stars.

February

I've never been active in co-curriculum, to be honest. I mean, I do play sport, but not these uniforms thingy. But starting this year, I decided to be more active as I only have 2 years left in high school. Of course, to get co-curriculum marks! So this is a picture of me, my friend and two of my girl guide seniors representing out school at Majlis Pandu Puteri Renjer Peringkat Daerah Gombak at SMK Taman Desa. It was my first time going to this kind of event. It was amazing! I got to meet girl guides from other schools, and we played fun games. Hoping to be at the event again in 2017!

March

There's an annual camp for each school, right? We had ours this year in March at Kem Lubok Manggis, Hulu Langat. So far, it was the best camp I've ever been to in my entire life. The place is so beautiful; the facilitators were very sporting, and the activities were damn fun! We all had a great time, and we enjoyed every single second. The sad thing is that the camp was held only for 2 days and 1 night, which is not enough as it was a great camp. Generally, annual camps will be held for at least two nights. For next year's camp, we've requested to our teachers to make it at the same place with the same facilitators. Hehe.

April

Nothing much. From what I remembered, there were no interesting things happened in April. But here's a picture we took in this month, our class picture! I've been with the same classmates for three years as our school don't usually change classes every year. We only get to choose and change classes in Form 4 based on the streams. So, here I am, with mostly the same classmates and a few new ones. So far, nothing can beat my lower secondary classmates. They were the best!

May

As I said in my About The Author page, I play a sport called Softball. If you don't know what it is, it's very similar to baseball but with different types of balls and size of diamond (the field). I represent my school in Kejohanan Sofbol MSSD Gombak. This is a district level tournament. Softball is a sport that my school is excellent at. Both of our male and female teams got the 1st place every year. This is my team, Kelleys' Softball team. There is a total of 15 players. We got the 1st place again this year, alhamdulillah. Sadly, I didn't get to play much this year as my left leg was injured 3 days before the tournament. Overall, I still enjoy the game!

June

It was the month of Ramadhan. So, there was nothing much, but we did go for a school trip. Remember this post of mine? I talked about the journey! Yeap, the #KrafRaya16 event at Kompleks Kraf Kuala Lumpur. We visited an art and craft museum. There was also an Aidilfitri sale there called Colours of Aidilfitri 2016. I didn't actually buy anything as the stuff were quite expensive as most of them are handmade, but the clothing there were so beautiful as they're all batik design. This is a picture of my friends and me in the museum!

July

Aidilfitri! We celebrated our first day of Raya at my hometown in Banting, Selangor. Our theme this year is black and red. This is a picture of my family, acting like we're in the famous Hindustan movie entitled Dilwale. We had an awesome Raya this year. Then, after the raya season, I had another softball tournament. Alhamdulillah, I got chosen to represent my district, Gombak for the state level competition, which is Kejohanan Sofbol MSS Selangor. This is my first year being in the Gombak team! This is a picture of my teammates and coaches. For this competition, our team go the 2nd place. The 1st place, which is the Klang team, is very unbeatable. They've been the champion for more than 10 years! Whatever it is, I miss my Gombak team so much!

August

The moment that all Biology students have been waiting for, frog dissection experiment! I've always wanted to do this surgery thingy like my parents. Many people asked me if I want to follow my parents' footsteps, but honestly, I don't want to. Even my mum doesn't really recommend me to be a doctor. She admitted that she had a lifeless life as a surgeon. But of course, I do have a little bit of the desire to try. So there's my friends and me, successfully dissected a frog! Alhamdulillah, everything went well, and the frog was kind to us (as in, it didn't make us shocked, frighten or something). I love this experiment, wishing to do it again!

September

In this month, we went on a trip to Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM)! It was a great experience. We had a jungle tracking; we got to know many types and species of trees and plants. Fun fact, there's a tree named similarly to me! It's called 'Liana' without a 'y'. It's a tree that lives by circling other trees to get to the top for sunlight. It's also the type of tree that Tarzan would use to swing around the forest! If you cut its trunk, some drinkable water will come out. Cool, right? You can Google about the tree if you're interested. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the tree as we were busy exploring the forest, but here's a picture of me, my friends and my seniors before we start our jungle tracking.

October

Again, nothing much. The only thing that happened was we decided to do a lion cut on one of my cats named Max. A lion cut is basically a short shave for your cat. I can't really remember if I've mentioned this before, but I have two cats named Max and Mia. Max is a little brother of Mia, Both of them are long-haired cats, so Max had lots of lices and fungus. So, we decided to trim off his hair to settle the problems. Here's a before and after picture of Max. Cute, isn't he?

November

A highlight of this month is the holiday with my friends! We went to Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Pyramid together. We had a very, very fun time. We didn't get to ride many rides as there were so many people, the queue lines were very long. But overall, we spent a whole great day there. On the next day, we went to Sunway Pyramid for ice skating! It was my first time tho, but everything worked out well as I do know how to play roller blades, so I have the basics. We spent hours ice skating; it was definitely worth it.

December

I didn't get to went on holiday or something as my family and I were very busy with our house moving process. Until this moment, when I was writing this post, we're only like 90% done. Lots of problems with the new house came, so we only got to move in yesterday, on the 30th December. But for the highlights, I would say the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale! I actually went there again on the second last day to buy some books for my brothers, but the picture above is a selfie of my friend and me at the book sale (I accidentally met her). The group picture is from a photo booth at my friend's sister's wedding this month.

Overall, 2016 has been a great year. I've learned many new things from time to time. We all have been through a lot, right? All the highs and lows are meant to be in our life. There are reasons for them to happen. Let's not regret anything and keep them as lessons.

I need to change, especially in my studies as I'll be sitting for SPM next year. Plus, there are only 310 days left before that god damn big exam. I literally made a countdown to remind myself, lol. Wish me luck!

May Allah SWT grant us another great or even better year in 2017.
Goodbye, 2016!

#MyTravelokaEscapade: Live, Love, London!

Who loves travelling? I know I do. Travelling the world is one of my biggest life goals. It's like entering a new world, living in new surroundings with great people. It's not that my current place is bad, but exploring this amazing world that God has created is one of my plans in my before-I-die bucket list.

Why do I want to travel so much? Other than having a holiday, I can meet lots of new people, visit fascinating places, learn about a variety of cultures, admire the beauty of nature in different places, and most importantly, taste many kinds of food! I have a bunch of destination I want to go, but for now, I would choose to leave for London!

💕 Why do I choose London? 💕
I have to admit that I love the British accent. I get excited every time I hear people talking with that accent. Furthermore, I like One Direction. I know this sounds so ridiculous, it's not like I can meet them there or something, but their music video entitled One Thing just makes me want to visit London. Then, I love reading travel blogs. Lots of the bloggers had been to London, and I'm very jealous.

And of course, the main reason I want to visit London is because of the fabulous attractions there! I'll be travelling my heart out and appreciate every moment I have. Spending my holiday in London would be great! Here's how I'll be spending my time there;

#1 Admire the magnificent Big Ben 🕒

It is like, the landmark of London. I definitely will not come back to Malaysia without visiting the Big Ben. It's exquisite; it's something to admire. I want to hear the massive bell inside the clock tower bells. Moreover, the buildings there are very authentic. If I get to land in London one day, I swear this is the first place I'll go. I've always wanted to see the tower! How can you not visit the Big Ben when you come to London, right? It's a must!

#2 View the whole city with The London Eye 👀

I love these kinds of places where you can enjoy breathtaking views of a particular location. The London Eye is a perfect place to see the city of London. Fun fact, I'm one of those people who loves high places. I might be afraid of haunted houses, but I love huge rides. I love seeing the view from high places, for instance, when I'm on a plane. By that, The London Eye would be a marvellous experience. Not only in London, if there are any kinds of towers or rides that give you a whole view of a place, I will absolutely go there.

#3 Meet incredible wax figures at Madame Tussauds 👯

Ahhh, I want to visit this museum so bad! I've seen lots of pictures of the wax figures on the Internet. There are wax figures of my favourite singers, actors, actresses, world leaders, Marvel and Star Wars characters! The one that I'm excited the most is the One Direction figures! I will literally cry (I'm a huge fan, don't judge me). There are also wax figures of Adele, Miley Cyrus, Barack Obama, Prince Harry and much more. Overall, I have to say that the Madame Tussauds is the place I want to visit in London that I'm most excited for!

#4 Explore the stunning Tower Bridge 🏰

This is also one of the popular landmarks in London, the Tower Bridge. This bridge is truly astonishing. It kind of looks like a castle, right? It's the world's most famous bridge. I would love to visit it to learn how it works and the history behind it. This bridge looks amazing in the night too. Plus, there's a walkway situated 45 meters above the river, where you can enjoy panoramic views of London. Again, for a person like me who loves high places, I have to be there!

#5 Experience The London Dungeon 👻

Despite my fear of haunted houses, I will not miss going to The London Dungeon. Why? Because this theme park is different from the others. It's a thrilling attraction that is based on London's darkest past! How cool is that? Besides having fun, I can learn and know about the history of London. I have to challenge myself to go to the theme park. It's great to learn new things while having fun. If I get to visit The London Dungeon, I surely will never forget the experience.

#6 Sightseeing with Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tours 🚌

Other than the Big Ben, the red, double-decker buses are quite famous too when it comes to London. Whenever I search for images of London, seeing pictures of these buses is a must. So, of course, I couldn't miss a ride! I've always wanted to ride this kind of bus. I know there's Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tours in Kuala Lumpur too, but getting a chance to ride it in London would be great! As tourists, you cannot go wrong with the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tours as they will take you around the city, visiting terrific attractions such as Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey.

#7 Travel around London with City Cruises 🚢

Apart from the bus tours, I also want to go around the place with a cruise along the River Thames! City Cruises is the No.1 sightseeing tour in London. It would be a new experience travelling along the second longest river in the United Kingdom. While admiring the view, we can also enjoy lunch, afternoon tea or dinner on the cruise! For me, I will obviously have a ride in the night time. I want to see the city lights of London at night while having dinner. Yayyy, that will be a very unforgettable moment!

#8 Have fun at Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland 🎉

Who doesn't love amusement parks? They are the places I call heaven on earth! One of the famous parks in London is Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland. Some attractions at the amusement park are The Imperial Ice Stars' The Nutcracker on Ice, an ice rink, Magical Ice Kingdom, Cirque Beserk, Giant Observation Wheel, Zippos Christmas Circus, and the Traditional Fairground. There are places to shop by like the German Christmas Market, Angels Christmas Market and Fairies Market. Gosh, this park sounds awesome! I'm surely going there! Amusement parks are the best.

Honestly, there are many more fantastic places I want to visit in London. I know it would be impossible even to accomplish all 8 activities I've listed above at one time as money is like one of my biggest life problems. But, it would be an honour even to be in that wonderful city. If I ever get the chance to leave for London, I will never forget my experience there. I will doubtlessly enjoy every single second there, and of course, learn new things too! I'd be the happiest person alive if I win this contest!

I would like to thank Traveloka for giving us an opportunity to travel for free. Love travelling? Then this is something that you should never miss! If you have a blog or just a Facebook account, you really should grab the chance to join this contest by Traveloka.

Beating The Procrastination Habit

My sleep schedule is so messed up. These days, I have insomnia, so I will sleep around 4 AM. Guess what time did I start writing this post? 1 AM. I suppose that's why I can't sleep, I've been looking on screen too much. I seriously need to stop, school is starting in less than 15 days. I better fix my sleep cycle now.

Somehow, I only could write at this particular time. Ideas would only come during this hour. I wouldn't have any desire to write in the daytime, which is bad. Plus, I have lots of SPM classes this month, so I'm quite exhausted and tired (but I will still sleep late, lol). My bad. And now, I'm forcing myself to update this blog. I already have a blog schedule, so I'm trying to cope with it.

I mentioned about today's topic in my last post. This topic was also requested by Rasya about a month ago. I'm sorry for only doing it today, I was procrastinating to write about this. Ahhh, that is so freaking irony! Well, I guess I'm writing about this not only for you guys but also, for me.

Procrastination is the avoidance of doing a task that needs to be accomplished. It is the practice of doing more pleasurable things in place of less pleasurable ones or carrying out less urgent tasks instead of the larger ones, thus putting off impending tasks to a later time. Sometimes, procrastination takes place until the "last minute" before a deadline. Procrastination can take hold in any aspect of life and can lead to feelings of guilt, inadequacy, depression and self-doubt. [source]

One of my every new year's resolutions is to stop procrastinating. Every year. Whether as a student, a blogger or just an average person with a healthy life. So, since 2017 is coming and we all have a resolution to get rid of procrastination, I'm going to talk about it. This topic is quite big, so let's talk about this in general and together, we fight this bad habit!

Procrastination can be caused by lots of things. For instance;
Lack of motivation - when you don't have any desire to do something.
Not knowing or where to start - when you have too many things to get done that you just don't know where to start.
Perfectionism - when you're afraid that the outcome might not be good enough.
Fear of failing - when you're overthinking the issue might fail.
Laziness - when you lack energy.
Out of focus - when there are too many distractions.

Those are the main causes of procrastination. Whatever it is, we have to beat them to get tasks done. I know it can be hard, but you'll regret it if you don't try. Here are some solutions;

• Make a to-do list
This is crucial. I used to not recording what I'm supposed to do, which I ended up not doing any of them because I'm such a forgetful person (that's a fact). I started to create a to-do list for every single day, and my routine has really changed since then. I became more organised with my tasks and manage my time successfully. Having a daily to-do list is surprisingly helpful.

• FORCE yourself to start
"I'm with the force, and the force is with me" lol, just kidding, that's a line from the movie, Rouge One - A Star Wars Story. I watched it a few days ago, and it was incredible. Star Wars will never be disappointing. Okay, back to procrastination. This is one of the ways I do when it comes to things like writing, either school work or blog posts. I will force myself to start writing even if it's just a few words. Because eventually, I will continue until the end.

• Get rid of distractions
Most of the time, things are undone because of distractions. For example, this post was in my draft for quite some time because I was too distracted with Korean dramas. I'm currently watching Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, and I swear, that show is so effing cute. Oh God, I'm distracted again. See? So, you need to eliminate all the things that are distracting you such as your smartphone, television remote, music, Instagram, Twitter, and others.

• Plan and prioritise your tasks
Sometimes, lots of things come to you at one time. Too many things need to be done in one particular time which just stresses you out, and you'd feel like giving up. So, other than just making a to-do list, write down your tasks according to the relevant ones first. You need to be able to prioritise your work and manage your time smartly. You can use a planner to sort out your work or just the Notes app on your phone, that will work too!

• Find a comfortable spot
Occasionally, you'll become tired and lazy because of the bad atmosphere you're in. And of course, you'll procrastinate. Maybe you haven't got time, or most probably, procrastinate to clean your room. Or maybe your siblings are too loud that you just couldn't focus on your work. Then, be in a clean and comfortable space. Tidy up your room, spray some air freshener, or just get out of the house and find a peaceful place. It can be a library, a cafe, a park, or anywhere you like. Get yourself in a better surroundings and do your work.

• Don't think too much
Overthinking can lead to procrastination too. Maybe you think that your work would turn out bad, your task won't be good enough, or for example, like me, I would always overthink that my readers would dislike and judge my writings. Seriously, avoid that. Overthinking is wrong in any situation. You will never know what's going to happen next if you don't start, right? So, just give it a try. Remember to always be positive!

• Inspire yourself
When you want or need to do something, but you don't have enough motivation for it. What are you waiting for? Find yourself motivations! For example, when you need to study, then go to Tumblr and search the word 'studyblr', there are lots of original and beautiful notes that will immediately make you have the desire to study. Or when you need to write a blog post, then go to Pinterest or Bloglovin' and find some inspirations by exploring and reading blogs you like. There are many ways to motivate yourself.

• Put some effort
I agree that nothing is easy in this world. Life is full of obstacles that you need to get through. But remember, whatever you're doing in this world, an effort is necessary when you want to achieve something. Back to point #2 where you have to force yourself to start, that's where effort comes in. Fight that laziness and just do it! When the effort is there, procrastination is nothing.

I'm not saying that it's going to be easy, procrastination is something that's quite hard to beat. But hey, let's give it a try, shall we? I procrastinate a lot too, so I hope that this post will help everyone including me. Let us all get rid of this terrible habit and make our 2017 an anti-procrastination year!

What are your ways to beat this habit called procrastinating?

My 10 Blogging Sins

This post was supposed to be up on either Wednesday or Thursday, but here it is, posted on a Saturday morning. Screw me for procrastinating. Oh, and that is one of my biggest sins not only as a blogger but as a student and an actual person. Ahhh, I hate myself. Whatever, let's get back to the main topic.

It has actually been 5 years since this blog was created in 2012. I was thinking of doing a '4 years of blogging experience' kind of post, but seriously, I can't even think of any point. All I can think of are all the sins that I've made (and still doing) throughout this journey of me as a blogger. I believe that there are lots of other mistakes I've made or even currently doing that I probably still haven't realised yet, but here are the 10 faults I've made as a blogger.

#1 No content
Well, this blog is a personal blog. But honestly, I feel like I lack content. Maybe some people love these personal things, but I want, and I need to write things that are not only enjoyable but also useful for my readers. Plus, I don't have any blog niche. I write what I want. Up until now, my contents are still not good enough. I'll try my best to write more lifestyle and blog-related post. I want my blog to be more than just a personal blog! Insya'Allah.

#2 Horrible writing
I feel like everyone had experienced this (or maybe not). Let's call it those 'boyan' days, where we use all kinds of weird symbols and awful spellings. I used to write like that in 2012-2013. Remember when I said I deleted all my previous posts in this post? Those are all my 'boyan' posts. Well, it's not that they're bad if you're writing like that but those kinds of posts might turn your readers off. Overall, my writing still needs a lot of improvements, tho.

#3 Not being consistent
If you read my 'How did I Start Blogging?' post, or if you've been following me since the beginning, you must've realised how inconsistent I was. I used to blog, then I was gone for a few months, then I came back, then I went missing again, and now here I am. Let's hope that I won't be going anywhere again after this, except for next year. I mean, I'm surely going to be on hiatus for awhile because of SPM. I'm sorry in advance.

#4 Followers are everything
I was crazy about the number of followers. If you don't know, I've actually already reached 1000 followers last year, in 2015 if I'm not mistaken. And of course, I was so happy. Then, Google started to delete all inactive accounts (I believe), so I lost quite some them. Since that, I've realised that those are just numbers. You can have lots of followers but only a few readers and views, which is sadder than having a few followers.

#5 What is this 'stats' thingy?
Talking about views, I used to not even know what's the use of the 'Stats' bar on the Blogger dashboard. Views? Google Analytics? What are those? After awhile being a blogger, now I know that the number of blog views and stats are even more necessary than the number of followers. Now, I actually care about my blog stats and daily, weekly, and monthly page views. I haven't taken it seriously yet, but at least, I care. Hehe.

#6 Not connecting with other bloggers
Back then, I don't reply to my readers' comments. I don't even comment on my followings' posts. I rarely leave feedback. The only thing I would do was leaving a few words in their chatbox, lol. I used to not get that much of comments, but when I get one, I can feel the joy. I'm delighted that people actually respond to my writing. And that's how I realised that comments mean a lot. About replying to comments, although you might not even know I've responded to you, it's important. Our readers took their time to read our post and leave a few words, so, why not we take just a few minutes to reply to their comments, right?

#7 Too lazy to use a planner
I'm not a planner freak. I've tried to use a planner once when I was in Form 3 because I felt like I need to organise myself for PT3, but it didn't work out (as I said, I'm not consistent). I've also tried to type in my ideas and plans for my blog on my phone, it worked out a little bit, but I know that it's not enough for me to improve my blogging life. And for this upcoming SPM year for me, I want, and I need to use a planner. And of course, not only for my studying life but also for this blog. I've seen bloggers using planners and journals to plan and build their blogs, so maybe I should do it too.

#8 Not having a proper blog schedule
This is why I'm not consistent with this blog. I didn't have any specific days for any specific topics to update about (until today, to be honest). Which means I didn't take my blog seriously. I know that writing is just a hobby of mine, but I'm honestly really passionate about it. Of course, it's hard to start because of all of these procrastinating problems, but when I'm writing, I'm happy. Expressing my feelings and thoughts makes me feel relieved. Too bad, I'm not good at time managing. Having a planner + decent blog schedule should probably help. I've already planned my blog schedule tho, it will be up on my blog as soon as possible!

#9 Always, like always, procrastinating
Procrastinating is my huge problem. I procrastinate on blogging, studying, ahhh everything! If someone asks me what my life problems are, procrastinating would be my number one. For instance, as I said, this post was supposed to be published a few days ago, but it didn't as I'm such a procrastination queen. Again, this is also why I'm not consistent. It's such a hard bad habit for me to beat, but I swear I'm trying my best. Procrastination, please, go away.

#10 Not caring about my blog weight
This is a sin that I recently realised. I've tested my website speed and grades and all those kinds of stuff before, but I never actually care. Until one day I noticed how slow my blog loads, and I was so stressed out because of it. Since that, I started compressing photos, which makes a huge difference on my blog weight. Until today, my blog is still heavy. I've compressed every single picture, but my page size is still more than 3MB. I seriously don't know what else to do to make my site faster. If you have any idea, please tell me.

As you can see, that's a lot of sins. I'm still making some of these mistakes, like being inconsistent, no blog schedule and especially, procrastinating. Whatever it is, mistakes are meant to be done, right? That's just how you will learn. I'm still learning and trying my best to improve everything that I'm doing in life. Wish me luck!

What are your sins as a blogger?

Big Bad Wolf Preview Sale 2016 | Book Haul

Fun fact, I love places with books. Bookstores, book sales, libraries, anything! I think I got this from my dad. In my family, my dad and I are the only ones who love books. Every time we went to any mall that has bookstores, we will definitely drop by them. My dad is an ultimate bookworm. He has tonnes and tonnes of books, and he reads every single day. Books are his life, especially religious books. Every time there's a book sale nearby, we would go together and shop our heart out.

Okay, let's talk about me. After almost a year waiting, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is finally here! Going to this sale is a must for me. It's one of the places I call 'heaven on earth'. With 75% to 95% discounts, how can you even resist that? I love book sales such as Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair and Pesta Buku Selangor, but none of them can beat my love towards Big Bad Wolf Book Sale. I would go to the other book fairs with my dad, but for BBW, I'd go with my friends as they also enjoy it.

This year, for the first time in forever, I got a Preview Pass. As I said in my previous post, I pledged to Stop Buying, Start Reading on BBW's website, and luckily, I won one of the Preview Passes as they gave them out to 10 people for every 100 pledges. If you don't know, the Preview Pass lets you come to the sale one day before it officially starts. It started yesterday on December 9th, but I went there on the 8th. The pass admits 2 adults. I wasn't expecting it, but, Alhamdulillah, I was so damn happy when I received the email!

The BBW Preview Sale was lit. By the time I arrived, the cue was already so long. People were like camping outside the hall. But let me tell you, it was such a heaven. There are lots of great books, and the prices are more than affordable. I totally understand why there are people who stood in front of the main door by 7 AM.

Now let's move on to the books. I've bought a total of 11 books only. Yeap, only. Lots of people had their baskets and trolleys loaded with books, and I believe that those are more than 20 to 30 books. I mean, at Big Bad Wolf Book Sale, that's absolutely normal. My parents didn't let me buy that much because they want me to concentrate on my studies more by next year. Of course, I agreed. Well, honestly, 11 books are already a lot for me. I'm grateful enough.

Gosh, I talk too much. Let's get straight to the book haul. I picked up 9 fiction books, a non-fiction book and a notebook. The fictions that I got are mostly from the Romance, Young Adult and General Fiction sections. The non-fiction is from the Self-Help section, and the notebook is from the Arts section.

• The Geography Of You And Me by Jennifer E. Smith [link]
📚 Genre: Young Adult
💸 BBW Price: RM12
😄 Comment: My friend read the series and she said they were great! The titles are just so cute, and the synopses too! So I decided to grab them. These are the 2 books from the Young Adult section. This is the #3 book of the series and it is hard-covered.

• This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E Smith [link]
📚 Genre: Young Adult
💸 BBW Price: RM10
😄 Comment: This is the #2 book. I couldn't find the #1 one, which is The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. I believe that there are more books in this series, but let me read these two first and make sure to enjoy them before I get the others. Plus, this one is not hard-covered like the other one.

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell [link]
📚 Genre: Romance
💸 BBW Price: RM10
😄 Comment: Here's the great Eleanor & Park. I saw lots of reviews for this book and everyone was saying that it's an amazing love story. I was so happy as this is one of the books I was looking for! I read this before, but only three to four pages, it was my friend's. By that, I bought this to finish where I stopped (or maybe just start all over again).

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell [link]
📚 Genre: General Fiction
💸 BBW Price: RM12
😄 Comment: Another book by Rainbow Rowell! I wanted to get Landline as well, but I was too late. I actually saw it, hold it and read the synopsis, but I didn't take it and just walked away (how stupid). I thought I took it, but after a while, I checked what's in my basket and I noticed that I forgot to take it. When I came back, it was sold out. Fangirl wasn't there too.

The Girl You Left Behind by Jojo Moyes [link]
📚 Genre: Romance
💸 BBW Price: RM12 / RM10 (for Wolf Pack Members)
😄 Comment: The first thing I thought when I walked into the hall was Jojo Moyes. I really enjoy the movie Me Before You, so I wanted to get her books as she's excellent with romance stories, but I only could find this one, and it is a hardcover book. There was actually One Plus One too, my friend got it, but it was sold out when I went to get it. Oh well, can't wait to read this one!

To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han [link]
📚 Genre: Romance
💸 BBW Price: RM10
😄 Comment: Ahhh, I can't believe I got this! This book of Jenny Han has been all around the media if you've ever noticed. This was the last one. Luckily, the guy who actually took it, put it back, so I quickly grabbed it. The #2 book, P.S. I Still Love You and #3 book, Always and Forever, Lara Jean wasn't there. Guess I have to get them at a regular bookstore then. Whatever, I'm still excited to read this one!

All She Wants by Jonathan Harvey [link]
📚 Genre: Romance
💸 BBW Price: RM10
😄 Comment: I chose to start with this one first out of all these books I got from this year's BBW Book Sale. This is what I'm currently reading, and so far, it's so good! Jonathan Harvey is an award-winning comedy writer, and trust me, this book is hilarious! I will really buy more of her books if I enjoy this one.

You Had Me At Hello by Mhairi McFarlane [link]
📚 Genre: Romance
💸 BBW Price: RM10
😄 Comment: This was also recommended by my friend! The synopsis is quite interesting. In fact, other than Young Adult, I also enjoy reading Romance books. At first, I wanted to read this one first, but I went for Harvey's book instead. This is the next book I'm going to read after I finish All She Wants

Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah [link]
📚 Genre: General Fiction
💸 BBW Price: RM10
😄 Comment: Finally, I've been looking for this book! This is the #1 one of the series. I bought this because I already had the #2 book entitled Fly Away. I bought it at last year's BBW Book Sale, check it out here. I actually haven't read it yet because I'm waiting to buy this one. Can't wait to start!

Get Sh*t Done by Lauris Liberts [link]
📚 Genre: Self-Help
💸 BBW Price: RM8
😄 Comment: This is the self-help book I'm talking about. It's full of good and motivational quotes! I love this kind of books, and I swear there were lots of books with great quotes. I don't really visit every section of genres at the BBW Book Sale, but the self-help section is a must.

Life Canvas: My Life - Pop Art by Parragon Books [link]
📚 Genre: Art
💸 BBW Price: RM5.30
😄 Comment: This is the notebook that I bought. I love it! It is a tabbed notebook with sections for Notes, To-dos, Ideas, and The Best for categories such as music, books, movies, websites, restaurants, shops and miscellaneous. This is the perfect notebook for me, and I can't wait to start using it!

These are all the books I've bought! 😍

That's that! Those are all the 11 books that I got at Big Bad Wolf Preview Sale 2016. Overall, the sale was as marvellous as always. If you haven't been there yet, please don't miss the chance! The sale is damn crazy! The prices are 101% worth it rather than buying at a regular book store. The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale starts from December 9th until December 19th, opens 24 hours non-stop (254 hours in a total)! It's located at Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) @ The Mines in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

There goes my first experience attending the Preview Sale, and I hope to be there again next year, insya'Allah! Big thanks to Mr Black Paw, The Wolf who has selected me to win a Preview Pass. If you want a chance to win the pass next year, don't forget to stay in touch with the Big Bad Wolf by signing up for the Wolf Pack Membership and also, follow their social accounts!

Whenever I Don't Feel Like Writing

Lately, I've been in such a lousy atmosphere, I'm in the mood to stay in bed for 10 years. I felt tired and exhausted all the time. For now, I'm pretty sure I've spent 50% of my time during this school holiday with sleep. I don't really go anywhere, I've only been to my school and tuition centre for extra classes and SPM workshops. Due to my awful mood, I don't feel like doing anything. Am I that lifeless?

All I know is that I will be going to the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale tomorrow! Last week, I pledged to Stop Buying, Start Reading on their website. For every 100 pledges, they will choose 10 lucky people to win the Preview Passes. Alhamdulillah, I'm one of them! The pass admits 2 adults, and it allows us to go to the sale one day earlier before the actual event starts. How exciting is that?

Okay, back to the main topic. I genuinely don't feel like updating at all, and I hate myself for being like that. Another thing I do other than sleeping all along this school holiday is being in front of my computer. Most of the time, I would be on the blog, of course. But recently, I can do any other blog-related things but not write. I feel very bad as I know that I need to update my blog. Just for some reason, I feel so unmotivated these days.

I really want to update every day during this school holiday as I know that I won't be able to update much next year because of SPM, but my current blogging mood is just very dreadful. And here I am, forcing myself to write a 'when I don't feel like writing' post. I guess that's the best post to do in this kind of emotion, right? Here we go.

#1 Update old blog posts
Instead of updating my blog with a new post, I'd update my old blog posts. I haven't got any chance to reformat my previous entries yet since I changed my template more than a month ago. I have to resize the images, change the font and others. I literally laughed at myself when I was editing those posts as my writing was so ridiculous back then.

#2 Find new stock photos
I always love looking and admiring beautiful pictures. Whenever I don't want to write, I would explore some of my favourite stock photos websites and find great images to download to use them in my future posts. The sites that I use the most are PikWizard, Kaboompics, Unsplash and Stock Up. You can read more about this here.

#3 Go through my reading list
This is a way for me to fight my laziness. Going through new posts from the blogs that I followed makes me feel sorry about my blog that I haven't update. I would feel like "gosh, they all have updated their blog and here I am, eating sandwiches while staring at this goddamn computer screen without doing anything" and eventually, I would start writing, just like at this moment when I was typing this post.

#4 Spice up my blog
I think I've mentioned this in one of my posts before, but other than writing, I also enjoy editing my blog. I would find anything to add or change about my blog to improve and make it better. For instance, today, I just added a new CSS for emojis in the comment section! So now, all those boring symbols emoticons have been changed to actual emojis! Check out my past posts' comments or just comment down below with a regular emoticon to see the emojis! You can see the tutorial here. It is as easy as 123!

#5 Plan for my upcoming posts
Sometimes, a few blog post ideas came to my mind, but I just don't have enough energy or desire to start it. Therefore, I would list down all my thoughts in the Notes app on my phone. Not only the main topic, even if I have some subtopics ideas, I would put all of them in a list so that I won't forget anything. Whenever my blogging mood is back, I will definitely refer back to the list.

Hence, these are all the blog-related activities that I do whenever I don't feel like writing a new post. I hope this post had given you some ideas on what to do when you're in this unpleasant mood. I believe that every blogger must have been through this, when you want to blog, but at the same time, you don't want to.

What do you do when you don't want to write?

Too Much Information Tag!

It's December already! I honestly can't believe that I'm going to be a senior in high school in one freaking month. SPM is starting in less than 365 days. Ahhh it's getting on my nerves. Anyway, I'm sorry for the late update. As I mentioned in my previous post, I'll be moving house out soon. So currently, I'm very busy packing and moving stuff. My house is a mess right now. Can't wait for all of this to be done!

I'm quite tired lately, so I really can't even think of anything to update. I've been thinking to do a Q&A kind of post so you guys can find out about me even more. And here it is, the famous Too Much Information Tag! Well, maybe not that famous here on the blogging platform. This TMI Tag was originally from YouTube. It was created by a Youtuber named Carrie Hope Fletcher in 2013.

I was scrolling through my Tumblr dashboard and one of my following done this tag on Tumblr. So, I thought, why not I do it here on Blogger, right? There is a total of 50 questions, and they are fun to answer! I hope all of you would know me better after reading this post. Enjoy!

Q1: What are you wearing?
Well, we're on holiday, so I'm currently wearing nothing fancy as I'm not going anywhere today. Just a light green jersey and dark green sweatpants. Fun fact, I love wearing jerseys!

Q2: Ever been in love?
Yes.

Q3: Ever had a terrible breakup?
Honestly, not really. My previous relationship was hella toxic. Gosh, I'm so glad it ended.

Q4: How tall are you?
I'm pretty short. I've been 5'1" (154cm) since last year.

Q5: How much do you weigh?
Let's just be honest here. My current weight is approximately 47kg.

Q6: Any tattoos?
Hell no, tattoos are HARAM!

Q7: Any piercings?
I used to wear ear piercing when I was like 7 years old, but for now, nope.

Q8: OTP?
Gary and Jihyo a.k.a. Monday Couple in Running Man! Although Gary has left, they're still my number one OTP no matter what.

Q11: Something you miss?
Pizza. I haven't had pizza for months now, seriously. I swear I can't remember the last time I had them.

Q12: Favourite song?
This is so hard! I have tonnes of all-time favourite songs that I can't even name one. So I'll just name my current favourite one then. It is Bruno Mars - 24K Magic (I've mentioned this before). This song makes me want to dance every time I listen to it!

I'm one of those people who take long showers. It usually takes me at least 20 minutes to be done in the shower.

Q22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Despite the fact that I took a long time in the shower, I prepare in no time. I only take about 10 minutes to get ready as I don't really wear any makeup or something.
